Hey....

I need to locate an audio editor that has the ability to pitchbend a sound file. I used to use SoundEdit 16 on mac os9 but now i am using mac osx and can not find an editor with that ability. I use peak le 5 now and the dam thign can not pitchbend. Even the peak pro 5 can't pitchbend! Please let me know if you know ov anything.

Thanks and goodbye

I'm not sure if Metro 6 will do that or not.. I know it will pitch shift (to some degree) and time stretch audio files... You might ask around at the
Metro Forums..
Avleton live might do it.
Check out the software section of this site, there might be something in there...

If the file is not to long, your best bet would be to use a sampler (software) and bend it using a midi editor.

you can use Dp 4.6

this is the most powerful to change pitchband...
it's a sequencer, but you can use to edit

Melodyne by Celemony is the thing, but it's for tedius studio work, not quick implementation and bending.

I think you should consider a MIDI sampler that can deal with large audio files.
