AS A COMPLETE BEGINNER, I AM NOT SURE ON WHAT TO BUY!
I HEAR LOGIC IS A BIT MORE DIFFICULT TO GET TO GRIPS WITH, BUT MAYBE THATS BECAUSE IM HEARING THAT FROM PEOPLE WHO MAINLY USE CUBASE. WOULD I BE BETTER OFF AND JUST LEARNING THE LOGIC 6, OR STARTING OFF ON CUBASE, AND MAYBE LATER GO TO LOGIC? I HAVE HAD BASH AT CUBASE AND IT SEEMS QUITE EASY TO GET INTO, BUT I LIKE THE SOUND OF LOGIC PLATINUM 6!!! I HAVENT TRIED LOGIC, AND I DONT THINK THERE IS ANY DEMO'S I CAN DOWNLOAD WITHOUT HAVING THE XS KEY. ANY ADVICE WOULD BE WELL APPRECIATED! THANKS! YOU DON'T HAVE TO SHOUT LIKE THAT!
please ![]() or maybe you are deaf ![]() Now, have you looked into the getting started forum, I think there's some talk on this already ![]() About the demo, yes it's stupid… but most major actors in music developement on mac don't think demos are worthwhile ![]() THEY ARE! ![]() -------------------- Our Classifeds • Nos petites annonces • Terms Of Service / Conditions d'Utilisation • Forum Rules / Règles des Forums • MacMusic.Org & SETI@Home

I've got both. I like both. But if I had to choose one, I'd choose Logic.
Rubbish, ugly interface, but better plug-ins and overall Mac smoothness. |

Hi all,
I've tried both and bought Logic. They'are both great DAWs IMO. Speaking as a hobbyist - Logic has a steeper learning curve but it's worthwhile sticking in there and getting up to speed. I love the Logic plug-ins and instruments. If you can indeed get someone to show you round both in a store - that is a good start. |
