i'm going to move from pc to mac in the not-so-distant future. i want to get an imac g5 because of its portability when playing live and for the simple fact that i have the g5 processor. my question is, will it run logic pro 7? i plan on getting 2 gigs of ram w/the 250 harddrive...
anyhelp would be nice. |

You will have plenty of horsepower with the G5 iMac. The iMac G5 is roughly eaqual to a G4 1.2GHz dual CPU machine.
I'm currently runing Logic on a 1GHz Powerbook, no ploblem doing sessions of 32-48 stereo tracks. ![]() -------------------- G-Dub

You have to be aware of the fan noise issues that these iMacs g5 are having. Take a look at the Apple discussions forum regarding the usage of the iMac G5.
