Mac Effects Help

Hi,
I've got a Macbook 2 Ghz 2GB ram, with different software for music,ive got the MOTU 828mk2, i wanted to use it for live performances, with my band. Can anyone help me for effects?I'm lookin for a sound like Robert Fripps Frippertronics for some songs, and a sound like ZZTop, and Pink Floyd, and if anyone knows also how to have a sound like TOOL.
