When I launch Cubase SX 1.501 on my dual G5 in OSX 10.3 it freezes during startup initialization, while Initializing: VST Multitrack. Has anyone had a similar problem, or know any possible remedies to the problem, or even where the source of this problem may be?
Any and all help will be greatly appreciated. -Jared

Does anyone use the Event EZBus and Final Cut Pro 4? Or does anyone have any idea why Final Cut Pro 4 crashes on start up when my EZBus is plugged into the USB port? I get the "Application Unexpectedly Quit Other Applications and System Unaffected" error message. As soon as I unplug the EZBus FCP starts up and runs fine. Any ideas? Any help and/or suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I just ordered my new G5, so sweet....and I want to buy the Event Electronics EZbus, if anyone has any serious beef with this piece of equipment please let me know. I want to record using the ADAT lightpipe I/O, and all of this is really not that important so what I really want to know is, what's the most affordable way to get lightpipe into my new G5? I mean specifically what is a good soundcard with lightpipe I/O or firewire interface or magic spell, etc... Any pertinent/related info will help. I guess I can live without the control surface features of the EZbus if anyone has any good mixer/lightpipe interface setups in mind. Thanks everyone!
