Nice sales pitch..Another item for the toolbox I guess for some people.

I own most of this stuff and hardly ever use it.. the audio on some of the Liquid Cinema is not that great and only 16bit files..Seemed slapped together to make a product for uninspired musicians who don't know how to write anything. I prefer the Spectrasonics and NI stuff where you can really use quality stuff and you get what you pay for. You just have to have some talent to compose the music and not just use loops of someone else's hard earned skills.

That's my take for what it's worth..

Well that is your point of view. Thanks for posting it.

I had the opportunity to listen to this apple loop dvd and most certainly I will use some of these typical drama effects and wont bother creating them with synth plugins... Who wants to reinvent the wheel?

Cheers - Eric

It's all good.. More less coffee for me on the day I wrote that post.. most likely came off too harsh.. sorry for that.. I tried to delete the first on with an email to support/moderator, but no one did anything.. hmm..
I just get tired of the same old things heard on several different movies instead of really hearing compositions. But who pays for those types of scores anymore anyway.. so I guess it's good we have these tools for these types of things..

Cheers,

G

Sure the music business as changed and these days we have to do with todays rules...

Well, current trends in the movie industry certainly follow the same trends in the music industry. Music & film projects are SO expensive to make & market that there will be little incentive for chance taking for even small films anymore. On the upside, making one's own small film has never been easier or cheaper.
