Looking To Maximize Hardive Space, not sure if dleted files are completely

Rookie Groupe : Members Messages : 43 Inscrit : 17 oct. 05 Lieu : Toledo - US Membre n^o 71,372	Hello I was wondering if anyone could suggest a good method to free up any hardrive space that may be bogged down by unused files. I have my first recording session tonight and I want to make sure I have optimized m hardrive space. I'm new to logic, mac, and ccomputers in general, and I'm not sure if throwing a folder in the trash completely frees any space on the drive. Thanks for your thoughts!

I'm considering the re-install suggestion but i'm not sure how to uninstall my running version. Would it be equally beneficial to toss programs in the trash?
