I'm a newbie and am using Logic Express 7 and want to add a whistle sound to my song. Have search the web a little and browsed my sound sample library but could not found the right sound. Could I do it using the synth come from LE? I want the whistle sound when a steam engine train start to move. "We-we----Oo" that is the most common sound of a train that we should all familiar with. Alternately, anyone knows where can I purchase/download the sound file?

Once a long ime ago.. in a galaxy far away.. my brother was a quadrapigic (sp)... any way, as part of his theropy he had to blow into this whistle.. It mimiced a train. Four sounds at one time, and quite realistic. It was made of wood.. I would think they would be available at most musical instrument store.. or maybe at a rehab center near you.

Maybe you can try this too:
Take a "Flute" sampler instrument, add some distortion and reverb, and play a chord. With a few try, you'll get exactly the whistle you want in tune and timing. It's free and more fun... Good search ! ![]() -------------------- |
