Hi I have just upgraded My G4 450 Processor to a Sonnett 1.2G SP
For those intending to buy on of these , you must check that your firmware is up-to-date under the Classsic Operating system(9.2.2) even though you are running OSX .( before you physically upgrade) I have 512MB Ram at the moment but by putting another 512 in , will I see a significant difference in performance? I have heard that MACS utilise memory very effectivley as opposed to PC IS there any software i can use to tweak the performance of my MAC now? |
