Are The Electrics Safe In My Studio?

We are worried that the elecetrics might now be safe because we're overpowering them. Can anyone tell me what is the maximum wattage you can suck out of one plug socket before it gets dangerous? For that outlet/groups of outlets. 10 amp fuse at 200 Volt system will let you consume 2200 Watts, etc. Before it blows. Sometimes fuses blow when they old, for no particular reason.
