So, I just got my FireBox the other day and i am enjoying it. I did a little bit of recording with a MIC and had great results. My question though was about what all I can connect to it. I see that I have the SPDIF cables, I have the outs running to my speakers, but I was curious if I could connect an 8 Channel Pre-Amp via SPDIF and get 8 more channels of individual track recording? I'm thinking not.. I think I was getting my hopes up when I was comparing this to the Motu 828MKII with the adat optical (digital) input. My other question is, can I connect say, a Firepod to my computer and run both the FireBox and FirePod to it and record 12 tracks at once? Just a bit curious. Thanks for the help guys!
