Conflicts with Studio Vision 4.0.1 and Pro Tools Free?, DAE issues... Options

I can't trace *exactly* when this started happening, but I've had a problem with Studio Vision for a while now in that when it tries to load DAE, it gives me a program error. I'm wondering if this has to do with the version of DAE that comes with Pro Tools Free. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a particular verison of DAE that will work with both PT Free and Studio Vision, or do I have to bit e the bullet and use one or the other?
