I just got Cubase SX, and cannot get my Edirol UA-3D to work with it.
As far as I know, there is no ASIO driver for Edirol UA-3D, it works with the Core Audio. (I had success with this using Bias Deck and the Edirol.) When I launch Cubase, it automatically chooses the internal microhpone (of my TiBook). How do I change this? (How do I use a USB audio interface that does not have a dedicated ASIO driver?) If I go into "Device Setup" and then click the ASIO driver tab, the Edirol appears there, but when I try to select it I get a popup window syaing "No ASIO driver error." Help! Thanks! |

Hi gojudk,
I'm running 10.3.5, Cubase SX, and my UA-5 is woking fine. Have you downloaded the latest drivers on www.edirol.com? Have you checked your USB port? Can you be more precise? Regards, Thomas. |
