Can anyone of you help me with this!? I want to automat the Yamaha O2R using the 2408 and G3 with DP. What do I need? Is a lightpipe connection between interface and mixer enough or do I need some sort of MIDI interface? Thanx.

what do you mean "automat"
if you mean use automation on the O2r then some sort of time code will be necessary between you computer and it - (the automation has to a location) if you have a midi interface then basic MTC from computer to o2r will sufice. Light pipe is for the audio - you can also use this to clock the 02r - be aware that some ADAT clock options are not fantastic but it really is increadably boring..... goodluck |
