I am really enjoying Ableton's Live 4 beta, very solid and working beautifully!

Has anyone else out there been playing with it and do you have any thoughts
on the new features?

Once I upgrade to version 4 the dust will start to settle on Digital Performer 4.

I've given the beta a test drive, and it seems quite nice. I already use and love Ableton Live. It is my favorite looper by far, and superior to REX files (in my opinion) that can get choppy at certain tempos. It is also nice to load AU and VST instruments right in your Live session. MIDI clips are very cool for sketching out ideas as well. I'm trying not to get too attached to it though. I keep telling myself that my Digidesign edition is enough for me to get by, especialy since I just bought Logic Express.

There is always something to spend your money on the the Studio!
