 Displays For G5, what is the compatibility like? |

Hi. I am just about to take the plubge and buy a G5 DP1.8 but the thing that is really bugging me is display choice. Is it true that you can in fact use any display (with the right type of connectors obviously)? Or do you need a monitor that is apple compatible? Theoretically I realise that I can use any monitor but I can't afford to buy a monitor that won't work with the G5. I was looking in particular at the LG L1710S. Any suggestions to other monitors would also be helpful.

i have a g5 and mines came with an adapter. i just plugged in my old monitor. i don't if that will help but there you go.
