Hello everyone, my first post on the new forums - glad to be here! I've been using DP4 as an audio only program an a G4800 in my music room for some time now, so I've never had to try to set up MIDI on OSX until now. I just installed the program in my upstairs office, and can't seem to get the MIDI hooked up properly. I'm trying to hook a keyboard controller up to the input of a MOTU Fastlane, then out to a Kurzweil PC2R. In the "Audio MIDI Setup" window, I made these connections, and the "input" arrow of the fastlane icon lights up when I test it. However, nothing registers on the "MIDI Monitor" in DP4.
Any suggestions of what to do next would be greatly appreciated. |

Chris,
Did you run the little Midi Auto Detect thing in DP4? It should be under the Setup menu... That should detect your exact synth. You have to setup a midi track with the proper outputs to the Kurzweil. -------------------- Ableton Live 4.1
