I want 2 make the step, from OS9 to OSX... Is it possible that I can get some trouble, using both operating systems, on seperate drives ? I have a G4 800... I hope it's allright, because all my works are in OS9 .... |

The reasonable attitude is a little more complex than that:
- Have OSX and OS9 on separated partitions at least. They don't mix well together. Not at all. - If you decide to have a classic for OSX, keep it on the OSX partition or on its own BUT don't use it as a regular OS9. - The OS9 should be "classic free", trash the files with Classic in their name that are in the system folder, this way OSX won't meddle with it and won't see it as a potential Classic environement. All this won't save you of all troubles but the most undeciferable will be forgotten.
