I am upgrading from and old Mac to a G4 but am having problems with Pro Tools Init jamming up when the os loads.

I'm running OS9.2 on a G4 400 and run Pro Tools free no problem. I run Cubase 5.1 as my main app but have been playing around with Pro Tools free and it seems to run fine. If you're going from 8.6 to 9.2 u may need to update your firmware and maybe u need to do a full clean install (wipe your drive and start fresh). hope this helps
