I am trying to figure out the best and simplest software to purchase for my home recording needs. I have a G4 iMac and a Yamaha P80 with Midi outs. All I want is multitrack, some mixing capability, some drum (or the ability to add drum) and a mic input. In essence an updated 4 track to compose demos on. Are my only options an Mbox and Protools?

There are some simple 4 trackers out there, check in theAudio Recording Located in the soft ware section of this site (thumbnail up top labeled "soft") -------------------- kaboombahchuck
