Hi there,
I worked with my G3, Logic 4.8 and OMS 2.3.8, Midisport 2x2 and it was oke. Now with my new Powerbook G4, MacOs 9.2 and OMS the trouble started. First I copied my setup from the G3, that didn't work (huge delay and no Midi in). Then I made a new setup with the same result or worse. Does anyone has a clue what's wrong and is there a better Midi software solution for Logic (and Reason) without OMS or Freemidi ? Greetings from Holland. -------------------- egv

oms hasn't been updated in years, was never very good anyway !
9.2 is a much better system than 9.04, don't even think about it. ![]() if you're really saying the midisport has to use oms (u sure?) either stay on an old system ![]() or, upgrade: on this subject, if you don't use logic, make sure the midi interface you use is compatible with your sequencer of choice with the minimum of third party fuss/clutter. ![]() cubase works best with midex, dp3 works best with mtp etc. finally, if you think your computer can handle osx, looks like all thse kind of problems will soon be a thing of the past ! ![]() don't go there yet though. check this site for the info... ![]() peace, later. -------------------- one for all and all for one...
