I'm curious if anyone out there is running Digital Performer 3 and the Digi 001 ProTools LE together on the same machine. I'm building my setup, and that's the way I've been thinking. I have the dual gig G4, DP3, Motu's Time Piece AV - so I figure I'm pretty set on composing for MIDI. I'm saving for the Digi 001 (for tracking audio) and for the second Mac monitor (the idea being, one program for each screen). Have any of you gone the same or similar route? Run into any problems (with syncing or anything else)? Anything I should be concerned with? Thank you.

OK, I was pretty confused by Prutulz's first post... The second one is less confusing...though...
What I meant is that you CAN'T use DP and PT along with the 001 as long as audio is concerned. That's just impossible. Now, on the 'disable audio and all link to the 001', that might work (as long as you don't intend to use the DIGI 001's midi port). But then...we're not really talking 'using the 001 with both DP and PT'anymore...which, I thought was the original question. Or am I missing something?... -------------------- |
