am i wasting my time recording without one of these things?
i've invested so much money by now and time, i'm wondering if this is the final fronteer and i should really just get one. how much of a difference will it make? is it like a big ...ahhhhhhh ? my recordings have to sound really good now. before, i just used my computer more or less as a glorified 8track to flesh out my songwritng ideas. but i need more . what do you all think? i have gtr center credit , or maybe i'll goto ebay if they are dramatically cheaper there... and whats the difference b/w the 828 and the mkII?

thx, that's really good advice. i like the peace of mind part 2, that's something i'm looking for. i'm tired of always looking for ways to get the sound better. this way, like you said, i can just get started and focus more on the creative aspects....which is why i'm in it in the first place!
