Could it be that Mac is so egocentric that they put a CD burner in the
G4 that does not automatically produce CDs with the standard red book specs? My guess is PROBABLY. Does that mean that I need 'toast' to actually export music from DP3 to the G4 Burner? Is toast the best? -------------------- Briknee

DP3 saves songs in SDII format, you need to export an interleaved stereo AIFF file, and specify Audio CD when you burn, otherwise you are making a data CD.
the Toast/Jam combination allows you to do crossfades between tracks, and imbed track info(most low-end cd players don't have this feature). I use toast in combination with Peak. But I have used Apples burn program at school to burn Data CDs. you need to look at the documents for both apps to get the specifics. G-Dub -------------------- G-Dub
