So here's the deal:
G4 350 - 10.2.6 - DP 4.1 - Midisport 2x2 - Nord Lead 3 OS 1.04 I'm trying to get Midi set up with the Nord, and DP lets me record, but it won't play back. I think the problem is not with any Nord settings because the Midisport's midi out lights are not flashing during the playback. I also think I used the Midi setup utility right. It automatically recognized the Midisport, and then I told it I also had a Nord. I tried to use the connectors in the application to connect to the two, but they didn't seem to do anything. In DP, the every midi output is set to a Nord device group, to no effect. So, basically, I'm hoping there's some very simple setting in DP or Midi setup that I'm missing. Any ideas? Very good question, yes the track is play enabled, although when I first started, it wasn't. It seems odd that isn't enabled by default, but whatever, now I know. And yes, the recording is definitely working, I can see the midi data on the track. I'm not in front of it right now, but when I get home, I'm going to try to do the midi setup again from scratch, and I'll let you know how it works out.
