I have logic 5.5 and an MT4.

When I record my synth to an audio track in Logic the audio seems comes in a little late. I thought that the MT4 automatically corrects midi delays with Logic and external equipment. Im aware of the "delay to midi devices" feature within Logic but what is the best setting for this?

Are there any other things that should be done to make the timing perfect when recording audio into the computer with midi?

Ooops I just remember there was a french member of MM who has some problem related: bad timing, the interface locking… a nightmare.

He solved that by using a dedicated USB PCI card

But before that some help from an actual user of logic and Emagic interfaces would be great just to secure the other options unsure.gif
