This question is regarding logic pro
I want to know the sound quality of the apple loops that means how many khz bit is it ? Yes i tried to use my finder and hit get info but only tells me the name of the file and not the other info i need too. im talking about the files called .caf which is placed in the folder library/ audio/ apple loops/ |

the .caf format is comparable to wav or aiff in quality. it's not a compressed format.
Apple switched to .caf to support metadata and larger file sizes, among other reasons. your loops are probably 44.1/24 bit (or perhaps 16 bit). high quality. highlighting a file in finder window and pressing Command-I will give you an info window that displays the sample rate, though not the bit depth. cheers. |
