i just got my logic audio platinum upgrade in the mail today. i noticed that it is an upgrade for version 3.x or earlier to version 5. i own right now version 4.8. will this upgrade work for me? also, i assume that it will upgrade if i own logic audio gold and want to go to platinum. any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

I'd check with their technical support people - soundtech in the UK, don't know about others. Be warned that its often difficult to get through
My general experience with emagic, particularly since they released v.5 is that while with software itself kicks ass, the service and ability to deliver the right product on time without cocking up has been downright abysmal. It seems to be a problem more with emagic than their distributors, but if the problem's at source there's not much you can do other than keep calling. Oh, and by the way, dont even think about emailing emagic direct. I've sent several emails over the lasst few months and never had a useful response. |
