Select the Audio with the Cursor (add half a bar at the end - and start of possible ) If you recorded in 24 Bit - Insert the Stereo 'Dither' Plug-In on the Master Fader Bounce to Disk; MP3 Direct Bounce (from Protools file ) - Set "Quality" required, bounce to 128 , 160, 192 (or whatever you want - It is best to use 128 for internet - the files get 50% bigger and clearer as you step up) ALTERNATIVELY; Bounce (quicker than MP3)) to AIF THEN open itunes,Choose from menu EDIT/PREFERENCES and set Importing etc (MP3 Encoder) to what you want and click ok Choose ADVANCED/Convert to MP3 and choose the 'Object' or file you wish to Convert and GO One Problem - The file goes straight into the Library so you need to give it a recognisable file name to easily recover it to place in your own playlist I am informed the MP3 encoder in Protools is better than MP3 conversion in itunes but you can be the judge Hope this helps Tony |
