I have Logic Pro 8 and I run DP 6 with some of the MOTU PCI and Firewire gear as well as ProTools LE using a Digi-003r.
After I had upgraded to ProTools LE 8, Logic started crashing and won't boot fully. It keeps crashing a few seconds after it starts processing CORE AUDIO. Any suggestions? I'm about to perform a clean install on the MacPro but I don't want to do that given everything that is installed on it. |

First things to try are :
- To make some clean up with Apple Disk Utility (repair drive and permissions). The best would to do so booting from the OS X instal DVD and select the disk utility from the utilities menu. - To go deeper with Onyx, using the Automation part (select everything save SpotLight indexing and Mailboxes indexing) - To dive into the Audio MIDI utility (in apps/utilities), and verify/change settings.
