When GB first came out I bought the first Jam Pack and was amazed at all the additional sounds, instruments, amp simulations, etc. However, I didn't play with it much. Fast Forward to iLife 08 and I decided to start playing again. Bought Symphony and wanted to add some of the stuff I remembered from Jam Pack 1 and now find that it is not recognized by GB 08. Am I doing something wrong? Any workarounds?
Thanks, Bob Adamson |

The drag and drop should still work if the loop files are still there; the apple loops are still in the same format as always, as they are not application files. If it was an old application you were trying to use then you would be in trouble. Apple loops are simply a format like mp3 or .wav and will not be affected by the PowerPC-intel change so if you can find them, or just use the old installer to install just the JamPack content onto the new machine, it should be easy peasy.
