let me put it simple. I am using Logic on osx. I have never used Logic for os9. I have no idea what VST is, and I dont care, since I won't be able to use it, unless its "carbonized", whatever this means.
So, do I HAVE to dish out another 300 dollars just to get new sounds? I have a friend who uses FruityLoops ( I know, on a PC ) and he gets whole libraries for free somehow... whats the alternative on macs? should I go back to os9 just to get free samples and sounds? or do I have to wait until a VST substitute comes out? Because a day (soon) will come when I get tired of my keyboards built-in sounds... And a 30-day trial ( for the exs24, etc. ) is still a 30-day trial. -------------------- "history repeats itself, so the best thing to do is rewrite the future"

hey, metachor
I'm trying to access my non-general midi sounds from my yamaha psr 270. I'm reading the logic introduction manual, but it just isn't making sense to me. I thought maybe storm or reason would give me access to more sounds, but i do want to start using midi for its editing capabilities. I know audio isn't the best way to go for what i'm doing, synth-techno type stuff. |
