let me put it simple. I am using Logic on osx. I have never used Logic for os9. I have no idea what VST is, and I dont care, since I won't be able to use it, unless its "carbonized", whatever this means.
So, do I HAVE to dish out another 300 dollars just to get new sounds? I have a friend who uses FruityLoops ( I know, on a PC ) and he gets whole libraries for free somehow... whats the alternative on macs? should I go back to os9 just to get free samples and sounds? or do I have to wait until a VST substitute comes out? Because a day (soon) will come when I get tired of my keyboards built-in sounds... And a 30-day trial ( for the exs24, etc. ) is still a 30-day trial. -------------------- "history repeats itself, so the best thing to do is rewrite the future"

wait, aren't Audio Units just for logic 5.4? bacause im running it on 5.3. ( coreaudio? )
also, so I search for audio samples and download some on the net..now what? i have never dealt with this before... do I just import them all into an audio track ( or audio instr. track? ) in Logic?? how do I go about this? and, do I need something like the exs24 to use them indefinitley? thanks to all for the help ![]() -------------------- "history repeats itself, so the best thing to do is rewrite the future"
