 White Noise When Trying To Record |

I am using an MBOX#1 with logic express 7.
When I enable record on an audio track, I get WHITE NOISE and my meter lights all the way up to 0.0db. I have updated my firmware for MBOX. I used setup assistance and Everything seemed correct. I made sure my buffer size and sample rate on LOGIC and CORE AUDIO for MBOX were Matching. My MBOX works fine with my PROTOOLS, REASON, LIVE and AUDACITY.......................... I have even uninstalled then re installed both PROTOOLS and LOGIC EXPRESS............... What am I not doing correct................. I am completely out of options........................ PLEASE HELP |

Have come across the same problem with Logic and the original MBox: Digital noise when I record-enable a track in Logic. Read this thread, felt very enlightened and updated ProTools to 7.1.1cs2 for Intel Macs (after re-installing Pro Tools from scratch). On Digidesign's webpage it said the update fixes the noise issue. The outcome: The dirty digital noise I was getting is gone, replaced by clean, white noise. But I am still not recording anything.
 Any ideas?
