Have you all seen this beautiful machine? IT'S a fucking digital mixer/interface thru a FIREWIRE for ProTools OH YEAH! I'm about to throw this MBox in the trash, and I'm wondering if this 002 will be an awesome upgrade. It's pricey, but might be worth it.

You may find you have the same problems with the Digi002 as with the Mbox, and with any programme you use with any equipment, if you don't get the settings right. That can be an expensive game.
I'm not saying you didn't follow the "Getting Started" instructions scrupulously (and they aren't very comprehensive, nor quite comprehensible), but this may be the case. The only really important thing they forgot to say was to plug the Mbox in after your computer has finished booting. The help menu tells you all about PT5.1 including for TDM systems. That won't help as you have no idea what is relevant to 5.2 and to the Mbox. The Mbox and PT 5.2 is fine (wonderful) but the Mbox/5.2-specific instructions were ripped off in 5 minutes by somebody hoping you would think you were ripped off. I can see they've succeeded with you. See your other Topic -------------------- Without shit, we wouldn't be here ;)
