I have 2 Motu Midi Timepiece AVs both are serial connections, has anyone used the MTPAV with a serial to USB converter?
I know the best thing to do is to buy a USB MTPAV and use it that way. I have a G4 FW800 dual 1.42 Ghz, with Cubase SX3. Also a Biege G3 with G4 processor upgrade using Cubase VST32. Does anyone know how to connect the two with VST link from Cubase SX3? Can I use the G4 and Beige G3 together with both Cubase SX3 and Cubase VST32 together? Thanks for any help! It works, but with the modem port to serial adapters I've pointed to. Also, it's "tight", not like USB…
We have quite a few members using this professionnally, in case…
