Hi all!
I'd like to buy any of those interfaces: M-Audio Audiophile USB or M-Audio FireWire 410 Minimal system requirements are G4 667 mhz (FireWire410) and G4 500 mhz (Audiophile). I use PowerMac G4 400 mhz. Can I hook up any of these interface? Will it run anyway? Maybe somebody has tried this stuff with G4 400mhz.. thanx in advance Rczj |

You might also consider looking out for second hand emac G4. But Im pretty newbie too, not getting my souncard till tomorrow, but so far, very demanding software works fine on my emac which is, like 733 speed . If its any consolation, there is always a lot of research involved in getting gear - fixing it to your budget- compatibility issues etc.
Im sure you ll do the grounwork, and find a solution that works for you. Take care. Phil |
