Hi
2nd post today - but this also just struck me and it'd be REALI cool if someone could answer this: is it possible to convert an audio loop so it can be played as a 'software instrument' on my keyboard? Cheers |

Surely you just need to record the audio loop into your software sampler (if you have one) and then trigger it like you would a software instrument?
I don't use any software instruments myself, but as far as I know, it's like a cross between MIDI and audio - it uses sample-accurate MIDI as a trigger, but records as audio, which is pretty much what a software sampler should do. At least, there must be some software samplers out there with this capability. Again, I still use my hardware sampler, so don't know for sure.... interesting idea though. Brett |
