Hey Guys!
I'm about to spend 17000 Euro on a DAW, and I'm having trouble deciding what to buy. I want reliability and a rig that's gonna last me a long time. The Tibook is cool and portability is sexy and all that, but is it powerful and stable enough for making a record at home? Is a firewire hd capable of handling 24-32 tracks of audio? Does Logic 5 running under OS X make use of the dual processor system? Thanks, Schack |

Thanks for the advice. I've decided to go desktop. My dealer also recommended this, and the desktop setup is actually going to be 1200 Euro cheaper, nice.
It'll be the dual 1 gHz, though, I was told the that the extra .25 don't really justify the higher price. I've never owned a DAW before, and I can hardly wait to get started LoveSchack |
