Hey Guys!
I'm about to spend 17000 Euro on a DAW, and I'm having trouble deciding what to buy. I want reliability and a rig that's gonna last me a long time. The Tibook is cool and portability is sexy and all that, but is it powerful and stable enough for making a record at home? Is a firewire hd capable of handling 24-32 tracks of audio? Does Logic 5 running under OS X make use of the dual processor system? Thanks, Schack |

hmurchison is right,
i have both, and the only value i place on the powerbook is the fact that i can sit comfortably on the sofa when using it/can travel lightly with it! the desktop machine will always outperform the laptop, raw power will always be more useful... -------------------- one for all and all for one...
