o.k.... everythings been good until i get a staticy ticking poppy sound after i've been monitoring an instrument (guitar, keyboard) for fifteen minutes or so. this is my first encounter with this. Latency hasn't never been a problem. I'm using a forebox into a powerbook. this has been a real inspiration killer. has anyone ever experienced this? Any thoughts would be a great help, thanks!

hi, I'm now laughing at my typos! To be a little clearer...when i unplug then reconnect the firebox the ticking stops. That's cool but the problem is that it happens at random times. Sometimes it occurs during monitoring, sometimes during actual recording. This could kill some great takes in the future. I don't think it occurs because of latency because i've been using this setup without fail, until now. I'm a little concerned because i'm schedualed to use this system tonight with a few musicians. I try to minimize embarassing situations to 2 to 3 times a day. Anybody know what it is?
