Hi,
I'm new in this and need some opinions. I'd like to know who actually switched from Cubase to Logic and why? What is the main reason and what are the options? I'm thinking to buy a powerbook, but Cubase is more sympatic to me,that can run on PC and Mac. Is the Logic better software to create an electronic music (ambient)than Cubase and why? thank you |

I've used both and I prefer Logic, even though it still baffles me sometimes. It's a complete package - kind of like buying a Mac, you pay one price that seems expensive, but then you really don't need to spend much more unless you personally want to. If you buy Cubase, the software bundle is rubbish. Logic's software instruments are awesome, every single one of them. SX is a good sequencer, but for the Mac I would recommend Logic. Also, the learning curve is less steep for Logic now in v7 and the new manuals are pretty good reference tools (at last!).
