Hi, I posted a related question in MIDI but this may be more suitable here: I own an E-MU xboard with drivers installed (i think, I don't see an icon specififc to drivers) but i recently saw a description of the keyboard stating that it is compatible with mac drivers. Does this mean I should uninstall the drivers that came with it? I'm still getting familiar with logic and mac in general but I'm wondering if there is a specific window that can confirm a correct setup before I learn more about the specifics of logic. The "getting started manual" put a lot of emphasis on having midi controls installed before logic. Is this a problem? Thanks for the time!

Logic should detect new devices, if you add them to the device list in the audio/midi utility, that is located in the utilities folder, inside the applications folder.
