Would like to hear some feedback from users who have purchased the new Dual Core G5 PowerMacs? Very keen to get one my self and wondering how is going with Logic Pro, Ableton Live and various plugins? finding it hard to choose between the Dual Core 2.3 or the DP 2.7. Or should wait and get the quad...mmm Need something soon though.
Cheers!!!

The new G5 are all using PCI express (PCIe) for their PCI slot, there's a shortage of available cards: only high speed networking or RAID, or video and ONE for FW available now, protools|HD systems are in the making and should be there by december, no news of the others. So at the time, you have to stick to USB/FW interfaces. blink.gif

Apple just changed for the second time in 2 years the PCI slots, but it's in one go this time. angry.gif

As you have a firebox, it's not a problem, you've misunderstood me wink.gif
