What are good freeware or shareware VST plug-ins for tape & vinyl audio restoration? Specifically for hiss, ticks and pops. I know of SoundSoap and WAVE Restoration, but what about less costly plug-ins for Audacity X 1.2.3

I'm not able to follow the Click Repair link. I've done a google search and found other links, but still no joy!
But following on with the Audacity debate. The 'noise removal' effect in the effects menu does a good job of removing most noises. With an added bonus of being able to produce mp3 ringtones, bluetoothed straight to your phone. Well on 17" powerbook anyway and with a LAMELib mp3 encoder downloaded from Audacity website. I am having problems getting the VST enabler to work, which is supposed to allow plugins to be seen with program. However, that could be a problem with the Drecrackle plug in I tried using. Other than that, it's a simple, useful program. Ce message a été modifié par butterrug - sam. 20 août 2005, 21:20. |
