My issue concerns MIDI playback on Logic Express 7.01. I can actually record MIDI into Logic fine. You can see that the notes are actually recorded. The problem comes in playback. I simply cannot hear the MIDI play when I play the song back. I just know it's something simple that I can't figure out. I am using an M-Audio Ozonic interface with Logic Express. MIDI playback works just fine in GarageBand. Hmmm...

open the environment and select new > internal > quicktime. then make a cable from the multi instrument to your new quicktime device...
