Just got off the phone with the german distributor for Akai Pro. The MPC-style drumpad MPD16 will be supported via USB come October (already works via MIDI). The rep also told me that the ak.sys software would be ready for OSX in October. This info came directly from Akai Japan (I was bugging the distributor earlier, so they emailed HQ
 ).

I can't really give any details. The drivers for October is "plausible". For Ak.sys it will be "a number of months".
But one thing is sure, all of that is being worked on actively as we speak, thats the important thing
