I have DP 4.5...not sure if it's 4.52...that's all I hear about, but nowhere does it say 4.52.
Anyway...I’m trying to work on a project in my studio and just upgraded to tiger yesterday. Every time I hit the play button, DP closes. I went to MOTU's site and they said to trash the old version of 4.52 and re-install it. I trashed the version I had (it said 4.5 on it) and re-installed and am still getting the same reaction. I tried restarting my computer and there has been no change. Can anyone help me get my DP working? Thanks. |

Hey, sorry to have jumped to a conclusion.
It seems to be a particular plugin, in a specific project, that doesn't allow DP to quit properly. Everything else checks out fine, so far. It seems to be the M-Tron plugin (AU version). Even though it loads fine, the program takes a second quit. Also, I tried the same plugin with Logic, which crashed when I first tried to save it. It actually saved, though, and then opened fine, allowing me to save the second time. So who knows? Sounds like an issue with the plug, not DP. Didn't mean to jump to conclusions. Everything else is running smoothly. Thanks for your reply. pax |
