They seem to survive  (after all, it's a bug fix of bug fixes Now some people have had big problems with Safari, in fact linked to Java. The solution is either to reinstall Java 1.4.2 from Apple downloads or (better idea) to redo the last security update. After that, repair permissions, clear the caches (Onyx) and there you go. It'll be more sure in a few days, right now only a few members have reported.
