Hi
I can´t work with the fan noise my iMac g5 20" do. I always work in a silent environment. I'm thinking of buying a Powerbook g4 1,67hz 15 " which I think is silent. Do you think I will loose a lot of power? I'm using Logic Pro 7 software with no extra plug-ins. Thank you Alex |

A 1,8 GHz G5 is roughly 2,8 GHz of G4.
Now, if you run not a lot of plug-ins, you should be all right. Other opinions ?
